Print Pictures in Your Collection

IMPORTANT: When using an inkjet printer to print on perforated or small-format paper, print a sample page and check that the pictures are printed correctly for the selected layout. If the pictures do not line up correctly on the paper, adjust the printer alignment. For more information, click here.

1. If you have

u Selected pictures and they are in the Pictures for task pane, click the Print at Home tab.

u Not selected pictures, select the pictures in My Collection and then click the Print at Home tab.

Picture preview shows pictures displayed in the default or last layout used. A red line indicates the printable space for your printer. If the selected layout is a Kodak perforated format product, the perforations are represented as dotted lines.

2. In the Pictures to print pane, use the Quantity arrows to select the number of prints for each picture. Optionally do any of the following.

Add pictures to task. Click the Get Pictures icon. You are returned to My Collection where you can select pictures to add to the task.

Edit a picture. Select the picture and then click the Edit Picture icon. For more information, click here.

Remove pictures from task. Select the pictures and then click the Remove Selected Pictures icon.

 

3. Do the following.

u Paper size. Select the paper size.

u Print layout. Select the layout for the size and number of pictures you want to print on each page. For information, click here.

If the aspect ratio for the selected pictures and layout is different, adjust the pictures to fit the layout. For more information, click here. You can also crop the picture to the desired layout aspect ratio and then save the picture. For more information, click here.

A picture quality warning icon () is displayed on the picture if the picture has an inadequate resolution to produce a quality print. When this icon appears, use the picture as is or, for a better picture quality, select a smaller print layout.

u Paper type. Select the paper type.

When using Kodak inkjet paper and your printer driver supports the One Touch to Better Pictures feature, an icon appears in the lower left-hand corner of the window. If the icon does not appear, click Print Quality and then select the settings available for your printer.

To turn off One Touch to Better Pictures or to check for an update for your printer, click Options.

4. Click Print.

It may take awhile to prepare your pictures for printing. While your pictures are being sent to the printer, an icon appears in the right-hand corner of the status bar. Double-click the icon to display the Task Status window. To cancel printing, select the print job in the Task column and click Cancel. For more information on the Task Status window, click here.
